One of Graileys house favorites is back! Vine Hill Ranch sits in a beautiful southwestern corner of Oakville, rolling up over gentle hills into the east side of the Napa/Sonoma border in the Mayacamas Monutains. In the 1950s, when Vine Hill Ranch was established… Following the history of wines made from Vine Hill fruit is a way of following the history of Napa: Cakebread, Chappellet, Etude, Duckhorn, Lail, Bond, Araujo, and, right up to today with Favia Erickson group. The fruit is also responsible for iconic wine like ’68 BV Georges de Latour and the legendary 1997 Robert Mondavi Reserve Cabernet. In 2008 Vine Hill Ranch, decided to start using some of its own grapes to make its own wines, wines identifying “Vine Hill Ranch” on the label as the producer. A perfect vineyard source, found a perfect winemaker in 2008 in Francoise Peschon, to make elegant wines, through this day, that are the best possible expressions of Vine Hill fruit. Wine is nestled in a nice 3 pack wood case and ready for your cellar!

97 Points Vinous – Tasted from a core blend, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon is shaping up to be one of the wines of the vintage. Pliant, supple and beautifully radiant, the 2017 has so much to offer. Silky tannins and plush, racy fruit are two of the many signatures in this exceptionally polished, sensual wine. The 2017 is an unbelievably beautiful, sensual Cabernet with tons of potential.
