2022 Rotem & Mounir Saouma Chateauneuf-du-Pape Blanc "Magis"

Mounir Saouma, the extraordinary genius behind the acclaimed Lucien Le Moine Burgundy label, has managed to conjure up another remarkable vintage of his game-changing CDP Blanc. He has found a way of raising the already stratospherically high bar he has set for himself with the exquisite 2021. Its consistent adherence to excellence has prompted us to vote Magis 'Graileys White Wine of the Year' for the last four years running, and in our opinion, this latest rendition is easily his best yet. This wine is so completely unique it will permanently alter the way you think about CDP Blanc and its varietals. Almost inconceivably, 'Magis' mirrors a high-end Meursault or a young Montrachet, rather than a traditional white Rhone.
